Quick And Easy Hummus Dip
Hummus dip that is quick and easy to make. Only equipment needed is a blender or food processor. Makes a great snack that is tasty, cheap and healthy.

14 oz / 400g can of chickpeas
1
lemon
juiced (about 1/4 cup)

tbsp
tahini
(hulled)

tbsp
extra virgin olive oil
+ more for serving

small cloves
garlic
minced
1
tsp
salt
or to taste
1/2
tsp
ground cumin
2
tbsp
water
smoked paprika
for garnish (can use sweet)
Instructions
Drain and rinse chickpeas.
Combine tahini and lemon juice together in a blender or food processor. Pulse for 30 seconds, until well combined and light in color.
Add olive oil, minced garlic and salt to the lemon tahini mixture. Pulse for another 30 seconds, until well combined.
Add in the cumin and rinsed chickpeas to the blender. Blend for 1 minute, or until smooth.
Alternate adding in some water to mixture and blending. Do this until hummus has reached the consistency you want.
Sprinkle over some paprika for garnish and drizzle with olive oil to serve.
Notes
Makes about 1 1/2 cups of hummus.
