Peri Peri Chicken Wings
Chicken wings marinated in a Peri Peri sauce and the oven baked. A great snack or party food.

chicken wings
split into drumettes and wingettes
Peri Peri Marinade (Note 1)

Bird's eye chilies
stems removed (Add in more to increase heat)

cloves
garlic

vegetable oil

lemon
juiced

red wine vinegar

tsp
smoked paprika
or sweet

tsp
dried oregano

tsp
onion powder

to taste
Instructions
Add all marinade ingredients together in a blender or food processor. Pulse until mostly smooth or your desired consistency.
Mix about 1/2 a cup of the Peri Peri marinade with the chicken wings in a large bowl or zip lock bag. Marinate in the fridge for at least 1 hour.
Preheat oven to 425°F/220°C
Line a baking tray with parchment paper and place the marinated chicken wings on it in a single layer.
Cook in oven for 30-35 minutes, or until golden and cooked through. Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Marinade ingredients will make about 1/2 a cup of marinade. Make a little bit more if you want to use some as a dipping sauce.
